Carsome, a fully integrated platform for selling cars, has improved its user-friendly purchasing experience with the introduction of PJ Automall, its biggest experience center to date in Malaysia and the first equipped with charging stations for electric vehicles. Automall lets customers test out cars they are interested in, starting with viewing, then choosing, and then on-the-spot testing, and after they have completed their purchase, with financial services on-site that approve loan applications and loans in just a day.
“The launch of the Carsome PJ Automall will strengthen our online-to-offline hybrid offering and raise the bar on our customers’ car buying experience. Our motivation is to make this experience center a lifestyle-centric one, where customers can walk in to enjoy the shopping process and most importantly, leave the worry and hassle to our dedicated teams,” said Eric Cheng, co-founder and CEO of Carsome.
The showroom, situated on the Federal Highway in the Naza Automall showroom, has an area of more than 100,000 sq. ft. It can accommodate more than 200 vehicles from Carsome’s ever-growing inventory on the internet, including more than 1600 vehicles, to provide visitors with a viewing experience. Carsome has operations in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Singapore. Carsome aims to transform the used car market by changing and improving the purchasing and selling process, as stated by Carsome in a statement.
In 2020, Carsome Experience Centers outlined the idea of ‘The New Method of Buying Cars.’ It also offered customers the option of browsing the selection of Carsome-certified vehicles on its website before arranging an experience driving. Since then, according to the statement issued by Carsome, Carsome has established more than ten experience centers in Malaysia to meet the rising demand for used automobiles. It currently has more than 3,000 staff members spread across every office.
