2022 BMW 3 SERIES, 330E PLUG IN HYBRID
There are few luxury plug-in hybrids on the market. The BMW 3 Series330e PHEV is one of the most anticipated 2022 models. It is expected to be the best-selling premium German sedan for all buyers. This car is a great choice for those who want a premium vehicle with great space, lots of power and quality materials.
The 2022 BMW 3 Series 330e has a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine and an electric motor. It is paired with a 12-kilowatt-hour (kWh), capacity battery.
The 3 Series has a maximum power output of 292 horsepower and 309 pounds-feet. It can also accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 5.9 seconds. It can also travel up to 35 miles on its own with just electric power thanks to the large battery. This makes it a great companion for daily trips.
2022 MERCEDES BENZ CLASS PLUG IN HYBRID
Mercedes-Benz started selling the C-Class PHEV starting in September 2021. It has a homologated range of electric mode between 55-68 miles depending on the model. The battery’s gross capacity is 25.4 kWh.
The cathode type (still NCM) and the higher energy density are the main differences to the C-Class plug-in battery. It has a nearly double capacity (the C-Class PHEV’s previous C-Class had 13.5 kWh) and takes up less space which allows it to have a flat cargo surface.
Turbocharged 2.0 four-cylinder combustion engines can produce 204 and 258 horsepower (C300 e and C400 e, respectively). The electric motor permanent magnet-synchronous produces 129 horsepower within the 9G-Tronic automated transmission (nine speed torque converter).
The powertrain can be operated in five driving modes: Individual, Electric, Hybrid and Sport. Except in Sport, it is possible to alter the regenerative brake force by using paddles behind the wheel.
2022 PORSCHE E-HYBRID CAYENNE
Porsche’s Cayenne luxury plug-in hybrid is one of the most beautiful and fun. It will also include the GT model for the coupe body.
The new Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid is powered by a 3.0-liter turbocharged engine V6. It produces 455 horsepower and 516 Lb-ft between the engine, and the electric motor. Only the Cayenne EHybrid comes with an eight-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission.
The 2022 Cayenne plug-in hybrid is Porsche’s most eco-friendly model. There are two models to choose from: the Cayenne E hybrid and the Cayenne Turbo E Hybrid. The E Hybrid is built on the Cayenne Base trim. The E Hybrid comes standard with some extras like Porsche’s Active Suspension Manage and the Sport Chrono Package.
Based on the Cayenne Turbo, the Turbo SE Hybrid was created. You get all the features of the Cayenne Turbo, but it also has Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control to improve its cornering ability.
2022 VOLVO XC60 RECHARGE PLUG IN HYBRID
The Volvo XC60 will arrive in 2022 with a slight facelift, plug-in hybrid versions and a range of up to 56 MPG, 25 more than the previous model. The Volvo XC60 is available in mild-hybrid petrol and diesel versions, as well as the Recharge T6 or T8 engines. These are the most powerful Volvos ever built.
While most changes are made to the interior of the XC60 model, Volvo designers also considered the exterior. The exterior changes include a new grille and bumpers, a new exterior color, and new options for wheels.
The main improvements include a longer-lasting battery with a third layer, which increases power from 11.6 kWh up to 18.8kWh, and a stronger rear electric motor that generates 145 horsepower.
Volvo announced that the XC60 equipped with the Recharge T6 engine would be able to travel 49 miles, while the T8’s range is only 45. A new feature in 2022 is single-pedal driving.
2022 LAND ROVER RANGE ROOVER HSE SILVER EDITION PLUG IN HYBRID
The 2022 Range Rover Sport HSE Silver Edition plug-in hybrid SUV combines luxury, refinement, and sportiness to create a truly unique product. The elegant design and use of high-quality materials make it a sophisticated interior.
Land Rover’s PHEV SUV comes with Matrix LED headlights, daytime running lights and an acoustic windshield. It also features automatic ignition, rear fog lamps, power-folding heated side mirrors, and an auto ignition.
On a 10-inch touchscreen, you will find Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, as well as a navigation system, and a cluster of digital instruments. It’s important to mention that the infotainment system can be a bit confusing and slow.
Range Rover PHEV promises a great driving experience and high efficiency thanks to its turbocharged 2.0 liter 4-cylinder engine and electric motor, mated with an eight-speed auto transmission. With all-wheel drive, the total output is 398 horsepower.
